Bobiverse

Bob-3 names himself Bill, after Bill the Cat, and chooses to stay in Epsilon Eridani to research subspace and build more Bobs.

Bob wakes on June 24, 2133 as a replicant: a computer simulation of Robert Johansson's scanned, frozen brain.

Bob-2 wakes as a copy, briefly runs manufacturing, then takes the name Riker and a starship-bridge VR.

Howard, the newest Bob, escorts the colony ships, carrying some of Bill's inventions in case the colonists misbehave.

Dr. Sheehy is a red-haired, freckled colony biologist with a flair for drama; Howard finds himself attracted to her.

Garfield is Bill's clone, activated alongside Homer, who agrees to stay in Epsilon Eridani as Bill's partner.

Hugh represents the Skippies, who have moved to packetized communication; he helps because the topopolis interests him and tests new neural nets.

Homer is Riker's clone; he uses a cartoon avatar and constantly says 'Doh', irritating Riker.

Bob-5, Mario, is taciturn and antisocial, with a plain gray VR background.

Bender, another new Bob, proposes naming the planet Eden, and everyone agrees.

Archimedes is a young Deltan who invented a hafted stone tool for his mother; Bob names him and assigns a drone to watch him constantly.

Marvin is a new Bob booted at Delta Eridani from Bob's backup; he volunteers to look for the Deltans' flint source.
