- Ch 15Ship-busters are Bob's simple weapons: a small reactor, oversized SURGE drive, AMI pilot and a thousand-pound metal ball, with no warhead.
Book 2: For We Are Many
- Ch 11Busters, forty-pound steel balls, kill any gorilloid approaching Camelot; gorilloid attacks have nearly stopped.
- Ch 11Bob's stock of busters has fallen below a dozen because of the extra exploration drone production.
- Ch 19Ship-busters are thousand-pound steel balls; Bob has four in inventory.
- Ch 61Busters and plasma spikes are too small to damage the Others' cargo ships or death asteroids; nukes are effective.
